Let’s talk about something most people in this space don’t talk about enough — mental health.
I don’t just mean the day-to-day stress. I mean deep-rooted trauma, the kind that shapes how we think, feel, and respond — especially when we’ve been violated by systems that were supposed to protect us.
When you've lived through court corruption, CPS overreach, family separation, and government abuse, you're not just battling “the case.” You’re battling years of being silenced, invalidated, and broken down. That trauma doesn’t just sit quietly. It leaks out in how we parent, how we trust (or don’t), how we snap when we’re pushed too far. And the system? It’s counting on that. They weaponize it. They bait us into reacting poorly so they can point and say, “See? That’s why we had to step in.”
But here's the truth:
It’s not weakness to feel pain. It’s strength to recognize it and choose to rise anyway.
If we’re going to build something real here — a movement, a legacy, a rebellion against broken systems — we have to start by checking in with ourselves. That means:
Learning to regulate our emotions, even in the face of injustice.
Recognizing triggers so we don’t burn out or burn bridges.
Creating space for healing, not just rage.
We fight best when we’re clear, not just loud.
We lead best when we’re grounded, not just reactive.
This space, this community — it’s not just about organizing and exposing. It’s also about healing, growing, and transforming.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed, broken, like you’re drowning in it — you’re not alone.
And if you’ve made progress, found your footing again, rebuilt from the rubble — share that too. Let others see what healing looks like.
Let this thread be a checkpoint, a safehouse, a reminder that we are not what they say we are. We are resilient, and we’re not done yet.
✊ Keep grinding. Keep growing. We’ve got work to do — and it starts within.
